ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON COUNCIL NO. 8183
During the early part of 1982, Fr. Phillip Majka (founding Pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church) began discussion with some of the men in the parish concerning the establishment of a Knights of Columbus Council. Many of the men in the parish were already members of councils in the surrounding area and the idea of having a council service our own parish was an exciting endeavor.
Under the guidance of PGK Pat Slater, who belonged to John Paul I Council in Dale City, PGK George Coffos and Tom Mangum, a committee was formed to reach out to the men of the parish to solicit interest in forming a council. On September 14, 1982, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council No. 8183 was chartered with an initial membership of 43 Brother Knights.
Over 20 years the Knights of Council No. 8183 have distinguished themselves by being present and supportive to any need of the parish and community. Throughout this website you will see and read of the accomplishments of our council and "those men they call Knights!"
